RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Develop and implement a plan to have staff and residents, where appropriate, trained in the prescribed in the use of Narcan kit

* Support residents and documentation in the (self) administration of medication

* Performs routine urine drug screens as directed by the treatment/recovery plan, TB and Drug screenings on all residents, QA activities, EKG, and provides triage and provides medical services accordingly

* Monitors and records vital signs, ongoing/chronic medical problems

* Schedules and coordinates all medical appointments, and provides periodic follow-up, handles minor needs of residents including attending to minor injuries, administering routine medications

* Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.



REQUIREMENTS:


EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

* Graduate from an accredited nursing program

* Current NYS RN license

* Current certification in CPR, Child Abuse and Infection Control

EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum three (3) years related experience

Sat & Sun, 3:00pm - 12:00am
